The Japan Auto Parts Industries Association (JAPIA) is an industry organization that was established in August 1969 when its predecessor organization was reorganized as a more public interest incorporated association. Today, JAPIA member companies' shipments of automotive parts total approximately 20 trillion yen, supporting automobile manufacturing not only in Japan but around the world.
Each and every high-quality part contributes greatly to the safe and comfortable driving of automobiles. The environment surrounding the automotive parts industry has become even more severe, and the industry faces many challenges, such as responding to structural changes, addressing environmental issues, and promoting international cooperation. JAPIA is actively working together with its member companies to address these issues. JAPIA will continue to actively contribute to the sound development of the "automotive society" through the automobile industry and to the development of Japan's economy and society.
